In line with its efforts to raise awareness surrounding the political process endeavor in Syria and what are the rational and mechanisms that are being implemented, namely concerning the constitutional committee. Sourian Alamal organized a workshop for Syrian women held by the Huda Sergawe. The Syrian advocate explained to the attendees the fundamental dynamics, organ, and principles of the committee as well as the political and conflict resolution principles in Syria, according to the United Nations Statue.
In addition to illustrating the functionality of the committee, the advocate explained how local stakeholders could effectively influence the political trajectory and make an impact at the decision-making level.
The workshop helped to raise local female leaders in the local civil society groups and independent activists amid boosting up their engagement amid reflecting the locals’ perspective and feedback about the process outcome.
