The SSU had conducted a workshop with local stakeholders and media activists in north-western Syria and outside the country as well last. Representatives from Ezaz local council’s and Free Lawyers association took part in the SUU innovative workshop named “Media Freedom and journalist protection” in Ezaz city north of Aleppo rural.
Led by the SUU coordination, the participants embarked on an interactive, collaborative conversation to come grappling with the challenge and odds that local’s stakeholders could do to help alleviate the deteriorating situation of media freedom.
The participants raised the possibilities to form an organized media entity that relates or works in collaboration with the local authorize amid protection and organization of the media endeavors.
